The feratel Card platform is operated as a modern SaaS (Software as a Service) solution. This means that the software is provided centrally in the feratel data center and is continuously monitored, secured, and updated—without any local installation effort on the part of destinations or partners.
Thanks to the one-source strategy, all customers work on a common, stable software version. New features, optimizations, and security enhancements are automatically provided at no additional cost or on-site intervention.
For operators, this means maximum operational reliability, reduced complexity, and access to the platform's latest features at all times.

Yes. Operators can create and configure new card types, models, or themed cards at any time—including media, validity, layouts, and authorizations.

The ÖPNV Connector integrates VDV standards and proprietary solutions from regional transport associations. Mobility rights and tickets are automatically assigned and updated live when status changes occur.

Yes. Both digital and printed cards can fully visualize mobility entitlements and be used as valid e-tickets.

Yes. Status changes are automatically transferred to the connected mobility systems and updated there in real time.

Yes. The web shop, PWA/APP, SalesAPI, tourist information centers, hosts, and points of sale all access the same product and pricing logic—for consistent, seamless sales across all media.

Yes. The CardSystem can be integrated directly into existing e-commerce, ticketing, or web shops via the SalesAPI, including the sale and booking of services/service packages.

Yes. Services can also be displayed on platforms such as GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets, etc. via the integrated channel manager.
