Since its introduction in 2006, the Carinthia Card has been one of the best-known and most successful adventure and discount cards in the Alpine region. As a classic purchase and prepaid card, it gives guests and locals access to the state's top destinations and has established itself as a real bestseller over many years.

Since 2010, feratel has been accompanying the digital development of the project and supporting the operators in continuously expanding the Carinthia Card both technologically and organizationally. The card is offered as a weekly card for guests and as a season ticket for locals. At the same time, all regions in Carinthia rely on free, regional guest cards, which are also based on the feratel Card Solutions platform.

It is precisely this interaction that is a key success factor: regional guest cards and the state-wide Carinthia Card are not in competition with each other, but complement each other in terms of content and functionality. While regional cards cover a local focus, the Carinthia Card bundles Carinthia's most important top excursion destinations in a standalone, state-wide purchase card.
