The Niederösterreich-CARD is one of the most comprehensive adventure and discount cards in the German-speaking world, offering access to an entire federal state with an extraordinary variety of attractions. For a one-time flat fee, it provides year-round access to more than 300 leisure and excursion destinations throughout Lower Austria.

As part of a new tender, Niederösterreich-Card GmbH pursued the goal of comprehensively developing the existing system and placing it on a future-proof, SaaS-operated overall platform. In addition to classic card management, the customer was to be established as a central element – with a 360° view of customer, transaction, and usage data. At the same time, campaign management, service center functions, workflows, reporting, card verification, and card sales were to be brought together in an integrated solution directly at the excursion destinations.

Based on feratel Card Solutions, a card system including multi-client-capable CRM was implemented, which serves as a central customer data platform.

The decision to choose feratel was made as part of a Europe-wide tender.
